The North Tipperary Wheelers Cycling Club 30th Birthday

The North Tipperary Wheelers Cycling Club, based in Nenagh are this year, celebrating their 30^th birthday and we are hoping to see as many cyclist as possible cycling with us around the beautiful Lough Derg next Sunday, May 14^th for our annual club tour.
The cycle is 75 miles / 120k and encompasses areas of Clare, Galway and Tipperary along the way. It starts and finishes in The Lakeside Hotel in Ballina, Co. Tipperary, a lovely hotel set in stunning scenery. The sign-on is from 8.30am in the hotel leisure centre and refreshments will be available for the early risers before the start. There will be a choice of three groups – leisure, leaving at 9.30am, intermediate at 10am and the seniors (30kph+) at 10.30am. The cost is €25 with a licence and €30 without. There will be back-up vehicles, broom wagon, ambulance, motor bike marshals and help will always be available. The half-way refreshment stop is in the beautiful Portumna Forest Park and showers and more refreshments can be had at the hotel on return. There is also a chance to support the North Tipperary Hospice Movement if you so wish.
