Dear Club Member,
The club are running a Spinathon in Ross' Centra Watergrasshill on Saturday 21st December 2019 from 08:00-21:00. All funds raised will go directly to Cork Penny Dinners. This will be the third year of running the event.
If you are interested in taking part please let Nigel and myself know and advise of preferred time slot (Morning, Afternoon, Evening).
Nigel will assign you a one hour time slot. If this slot does not work then please coordinate changes directly with other people on the rota which will be published.
Turbo Trainers will be supplied.
Cork Penny Dinners are based in Little Hanover Street. Cork Penny Dinners was founded during Famine times as a soup kitchen. Well over 1000 meals per week are served, compared to around 150 a week a few years ago. The aim is a simple one – to give everyone who calls a hot nourishing midday meal. In addition, the service users get sandwiches and fruit to take away as an evening meal. There’s an open door and a warm welcome
