The end of season club cycle takes place from Clonakilty on Saturday 16th Oct.
All those who have previously indicated they are taking part will be registered via the Cycling Ireland system. Please settle with the Hotel upon check-in after the cycle.
If you plan to take part in the cycle only (day trip) then RSVP via Email or Group WhatsApp
The Meeting point of the cycle on Saturday is Clonakilty Park Hotel
Please be ready to cycle from here at 10:00
Bring a rain jacket as rain is expected in the afternoon.
Bring a mask to allow entry into shops.
It is likely that there will be three groups on the road.
The Cycle details are as follows (please be familiar with the route):
Primary Route 1 = 78K.
Heading Castlefreke, Rosscarbery, Leap, Skibbereen via N71, Union Hall, Glandore, Rosscarbery, Red Strand, Clonakilty.
Secondary Route 2 = 55K
Coffee Stop in Leap or Skibbereen, Lunch in Glandore Inn (outdoor seating in pods of 6).

“Clonakilty is located in West Cork approximately 35 miles south of Cork City. When traveling from Cork, follow the South Ring Road under the Jack Lynch Tunnel near Cork City and continue by following all signs for Skibbereen, West Cork and the N71. You will pass through the towns of Innishannon and Bandon. When you approach Clonakilty you will come to a small Roundabout, take the 2nd Exit from this and continue on the Skibbereen by Pass Rd and the Hotel is on the left hand side approximately 1 mile ahead.”
Sunday Cycle 17th October
There will be no club cycle on Sunday 17th October but club members are free to organise a cycle via Club WhatsApp.
