The inclement weather has hampered spins since Christmas. Last Saturday saw a group of 20 leave the village and head for Fermoy, Ballyhooly before turning south at Killavullen. There were no complaints of any cyclists feeling cold by the time Bottlehill was reached. The descent from Whitechurch to Kilcully was a welcome respite. The volume level was considerably reduced on the climb back from Upper Glanmire to the village. A great spin, enjoyed by all.
Sunday morning saw a group of 11 leave the village and head for Passage West via Douglas. After a quick hop across to Cobh om the ferry, the group headed for a coffee stop in Carrigtwohill. The route home passed Glenmore Stores and on through Knockraha. The rain came down just as the group reached Watergrasshill, perfect timing again!
